Beyond the Ordinary
This is where our journey begins. Nag members built what today is enjoyed by many and fondly known as Selby Meadow Community Green Space which has developed over the past decade. An open area for visitors to enjoy, children to play and investigate the wonders of nature, mixing potions of soil, leaves , pinecones and all they can find in our well loved Mud kitchen, along with a rustic wooden henge and forest school area, along with planted meadow, fruit trees and mixed planted beds and boarders of interest all backing on to a protected wildlife corridor vital for a healthy balance for all.
Selby Meadow is a lot of things for many people and its looked upon from a great height by a beautiful old British Oak tree, that takes centre stage, guarding all who enters this magical place.
In contrast Keld Close Community Garden is far smaller , more formal in design area, planted with flowering mature shrubs and annuals but both offers a place of natural beauty , with similar humble beginnings, both run and supported by volunteers and within walking distance of each other both gardens are well worth a visit.

Nature at it's Heart
We allow nature to do what she thinks best with most of these area's with a little helping hand from us here and there. This has allowed wildflowers, insects, amphibians, birds and native small mammals to call Selby Meadow and Keld Close gardens it's home. As I add to the website I shall depict plants and wildlife that can be found in both gardens and highlight their characteristics, hopefully building the contents and information available.
